What is a forklift ticket?
It is a Licence to Perform High Risk Work issued by Worksafe Western Australia
What is involved in getting a Forklift Licence?
Written or verbal assessments: There are over 50 open ended questions that must be answered correctly, plus some verbal questions on your underpinning knowledge.
Practical assessment: You must be able to manoeuvre in a restricted area in both forwards and reverse. You must be able to stack and unstack accurately at three different levels.
What are the costs involved?
1 Day Assessment Only $180 per person plus a $76 application fee to Worksafe Western Australia
2 Days Training and Assessment from $250 to $300 per person plus a $76 application fee to Worksafe Western Australia.
BCITF Funding
BCITF Funding of up to 80% of the course cost, may be available for those directly involved in the building and construction industry.
How often are courses run?
Courses are offered weekly at three locations Canning Vale, Wangara and Kewdale.
